Borch
Man that had to hurt in so many ways. Your shoulder, your wallet....So which one are you taking into the woods with you?
Hotspotter
Hurt......shoulder, without a doubt.Wallet.....not so bad. The 2nd gun is my brothers, and he helped with his share of the shells, my uncle and cousin pitched in some money as they used our guns, and I had a few shells laying around from last year too.I'll be using my Browning (gun #1) with the Win. XR's, my brother's I'm loaning to a friend (gun #2) using the Hevi13's, and my Stoeger I'm taking for backup with the Win XR Elites.I was really impressed with the XR/XR Elites. The shot was quite round, and the patterns were very even, as well as dense. No holes!Joel

mnhunter2
Going to Iowa for the 4th season and will be shooting a white tominator with 100grs of triple 7 ffg and 2 0z of copperplated 5's with a bp3.5 shot cup that will put 35-40 pellest in the head of turkey target at 40 yds and 12-15 in at 50 yds it actually beats the SBE with a turkey choke and the new federal heavyweight 3.5" 5's. brittman
I have found the Winchester 3", 5 shot, (less than 2 ounce) shell patterns consistantly better than anything else in my Browning BPS stalker with ported turkey choke.Beats 3.5" shells, shells loaded to max shot, heavi-shot, etcc... Total pellet count and spread is just better. Filling up a barrel full of shot does not necessarily mean more hits in the zone.Three gobblers at 5 yards to 40 yards helps solidify that I am using the right load for my gun.
