Sticky duck calls

Recommended Posts

I read awhile back and now I do this to all my calls 1 or 2 times a year depending on use. But any way, put rain x on them, I done it for a few years and it works good for me. plus it works good on the windshield, since I already had it for the duck calls!!

Before you ever bow the call take a breath of air with the tip of your toungue against the backof your front teeth, you will feel your mouth "cool" that saliva evaportating from your mouth, helps not stick the call.............Cmon everyone try iy, if you havent already... tongue.gif

I frequently clean my duck calls.I Take the reeds out check for cracks, wash them, and last clean the barrels. It's amazeing the amount of debris and dirt they can accumulate over time. Another good tip is to try and not get so much saliva in them especially when it's cold out they freeze up quick. I also have heard of the rain-x trick haven't tried it yet but might in the future.
