aqua vu scout or Cabela's VS 350

I finally have enough gift certificates saved up to buy my first underwater camera. I have been looking at the aqua vu scout or the cabelas VS 350. I know the cabelas model is made by marcum. Has anyone had any experience with both of these products? Any advice will be appreciated.

I have used the aqua vu scout for two seasons. Have no complaints with it. Although if you do spend all day on the ice, make sure to have a couple of batteries.

There is a used Scout SRT with 7" monitor on HSOList right now. Says it was used twice

I've used both on a limited basis, couple times each. The AV unit has a bit of a sharper picture and the unit as a whole had a more durable feel to it. The Cabela's unit 7" monitor size was nice. I felt the double sided tape used to hold the battery to the monitor within the soft side case gave it a flimsy feel overall.
