Trolling motor for Stealth 1200

I got tired of paddling a kayak on the small lakes and bought a Stealth 1200 Duck boat with a trolling motor bracket.

Last year I bought a 24 volt, Minn Kota 3x, 74lb. transom mount for my big boat which I never use because I have a 74lb. bow mount auto pilot with remote.

What is the shortest shaft, 12 volt, 3x steering (maybe) with maximizer or competitors equivalent I can get?

Shortest shaft transom mount motor is 30". An inexpensive Endura 30 should fit your bill (30# thrust). It is a 5 speed motor. Variable speed (maximizer equipped) will stop problems like "2 speed is too slow, but 3rd speed is too fast". Motors with maximizer cost quite a bit more.

Shortest transom mount with 3x is 42". (Vector 55 w/3x and 55# thrust)
