harvey lee
He has had a great start this season.Who thinks that just maybe he can continue his run at the top ten and finish there?
eyepatrol
He's done well so far, but I think there will be some tracks coming up where he'll falter a bit and other more experienced drivers will shine more. There are some good cars outside the top 10 right now and as the season wears on, I think they'll be peaking their way in. He is on a good team though with good ownership. My guess is he'll end up somewhere between 11th and 15th at the end of the year. We'll see though.
Sifty
Harvey you are right he has been a pleasent suprise. I think he will contiune to do well. The guy who has supprised me is the J.J in the 18.Sifty
OUTDOORNUT
I agree with Sifty, Hamlin showed promise last year while J.J. looked like a demolation derby driver. He has impressed me more, but I think mostly because you could see the potential in Hamlin. I don't think the DEI faithfuls were expecting Truex to be flying under the radar as much as he has. The season is still early and a lot of tracks the rookies typically struggle at are coming up. Hamlin will be about 15th in points this year. Right now Boyer is giving the ROTY's a run in RCR equipment.
lawdog
Hamlin is a freak. He showed that last year. The kid is just amazing. Its real tough to stay top ten though in that series and all the rookies have their weak spots. Bowyer I'm shocked at, as I'm shocked at Yeley like others mentioned. Truex will be fourth in ROTY race the way it looks. He hasn't shown much of anything in Cup cars yet. Of course the more die hard DEI sheep will still claim he's the second coming and probably vote him into the all star race for no reason...AGAIN! OUTDOORNUT
I'm going to start the "Official" Ward Burton campaign for the All-Star race!!
lawdog
I wish Ward could get a ride. I always liked him and he's the biggest outdoorsman left in NASCAR after Dale Sr. died.
