Navionics Premium vs. Gold Plus

I am looking into buying of of these two chips. Is the Gold worth the extra money. I'm in Illinois and will be fishing this area so Lakemaster is out.

Bob I have the Premium North Chip and its the best chip for around our neck of the woods. The gold has no recently reserveyed lakes and the Premium has 35 recently updated lakes. The gold has 70 Mn. lakes and 1000 lakes over North Region wich is Mn., Wi, Mi. and Iowa. Premium has 3000 lakes in the Region and 375 lakes in Mn. and 35 are are the most up to date info with contours of 1-3'.

Some lakes are very accurate and some are just like the Gold wich is like the DNR, Fishing Hotspots and other sources maps.

I was in Nestors Falls last weekend and my Premium Chip had that area on it.
