sunnies on medicine lake

I am not really looking for a lengthy converstation, I have read the Medicine lake post...However it doesn't really talk much about if the fish are biting...that is what I am looking for on a last minute.

I thought I would post on the general ice fishing topic cause I assume more people would look at it vs the Metro forum!!!

I'm not going to move it... many will not post bite information on this forum for that reason that you mentioned.. however are more willing to give some information in the forum for that area... just a thought... I was only trying to help you find information better...

I second what Deitz said. Most guys won't give up bite info anyway. Hit the water and give it a shot. Stay mobile and don't worry about the crowds and you should find fish.

I haven't been out to Medicine lately but I have always caught fish out there, crappies & gills. It was really good a month ago, should be even better now.

I have to reiterate a point that keeps coming up. Its not that the fish aren't biting, its just that they are biting soooo light that you can't detect them if you are bobber fishing. Switch to a spring bobber, do some hole hopping, and you will have success out there.
