how long will ice be driveable?

The last few weeks I've been driving on Forest Lake. With the warmer temps and the rain, how fast will this affect the ice? Last I checked on Forest Lake there was a good 17-18 inches everywhere, will it still be driveable this week?

Thanks

No more for me in the metro checked out a few lakes and with all the standing water near the access those where pretty brave souls last nite, at least the last time I was out 10-12 crops came thru the hole and all went back down for next time. I will walk but that is in question if 50's do happen.

I will run up North and slay the big bulls and crops on my favorite holes CPR all the way from here on.

Was on lake 2 last night (Wednesday) drove out at the launch, ice was fine. Some ruts developing at the landing. 40 some degrees today, 50 some forecast for tomorrow. Rain on Saturday. I hope to get there out again Sunday. Beyond that, not likely. Although the ice is pretty thick, it never was quality ice this year. I'll be walking again soon.

Be careful !
