Picked up a transom saver today, kind of out of the blue. I only have a 40hp and I don't usually haul the boat too far but the roads are crappy and bumpy and why not. Do you have to unbolt the saver when you get to the lake or is there a more simple way to take it off? Has anyone thought of a unique way to take it off instead of unbolting it? Mine is the kind that bolts to the trailer.
