Never used a sloppy pig.

I know a few though.

Love my suicks.

Old and new.

Mostly use the 10", but enjoy them all.

GREAT - BIG PIKE lure.

Muskie chow them too.

The pause can be the ticket, don't worry so much about how the run.

Weeds, rock, shallow, deep, windy or calm, they seem to be good at any time for me.

Try a BIG 10" black on at night.

HOLD ON!

Have fun, keep them in the water, FISH ON!

As for the Suick you are not an American if you don't have a couple in your tackle box. I love my all black Suick in the reeds and over shallow rocks. Sweep-sweep-sweep-SLAM!

Biggest fish SEEN in my boat was on a Suick, couldn't even venture a guess to size but it was huge. It followed up on my brother, I seen the fish pick up on it maybe 25 feet from the boat, as soon as my borther seen it he froze and stopped all action on the bait, as you can imagine the fish spilt never to be seen again. Thought about giving my bro an earfull but didn't, it was one of the first fish he had seen muskie fishing, needless to say his knees were weak for quite ahile after that one.

I am an American and I do own ONE Suick. It is a 10" weighted walleye. Question is, how do you guys work it. I am only a 2 year veteran of muskies and have zero confidence in my ability to use it. Although late last fall I did move two fish with it on Tonka, both times it was blue bird skies, wind blown points. They were slow and behind it.

I find myself just going with a long pull then pause, long pull then pause. Kind of slow, which leads me to believe the fish was just imitating my delivery.

Any suggestions. Obviously I will experiment this year with speeds, pulls, and pauses.
