I just purchased the Eagle Fish Elite 500c for my new rig. It seemed like a pretty good deal (check Bass Pro Shops) for a color unit that included GPS with mapping capabilities. The comparable Lowrance offered more power and better resolution. But being primarily a bass guy, that wasn't enough to turn me in the Lowrance direction and pay another $150.
