Kill button not working

My pantera starts fine but it makes no difference if the kill button is up or down. So I can't shut it off with the button just with the key. I'm leaving for a trip in a few days and my luck the switch will stick in the off position and I won't be able to start it.

I'm going to call the dealer Monday. If anyone can tell me if I'm missing something before I bring it in let me know

I need one for my 76 Pantera, the last one I found was around $80 I thought that was to much!
