1979 artic cat no spark

1979 jag, 3000fc, suzuki motor i think, i am not good at electrical problems, no spark at plugs,seems no spark going into external coils.cd box?stator?coil under flywheel?any tests i can do to pin point problem instead of guessing on which parts to buy?

Try bypassing kill switch yet? I had an old 70's puma once and that had a bad kill switch that I did not discover was a problem untill searching for several hours.also look at any wiring harness section that could make contact with moving parts,may be rubbed through and grounding.near the steering under the hood is a good place to start. good luck!

My hunch, If I was a betting man....... CDI Box. You should be able to do some OHM tests on the coils and stator, you'll just have to dig up some specs.
