rocky boots and clamp-ons

anyone here know what clamp on's work for the big rocky blizzard ice pac boots. tried the hi-tech extra large ones with no luck, the things broke. slipping all over glare ice, gonna break my butt!

I don't own a pair yet, but they are on the short list of things to buy... I know of several people who have them and do not have traction problems anymore...

they look like they will fit, the problem i have is that these boots are so huge, i cant find clamp-ons that fit.

I have a pair of 14's and a pair of 15's and the only thing that fits them is the slip on rubber ones that you get at wally world or k-mart for about $5. They slip off at times but stay pretty good if you get them high on the heal of your boots. Get the ones with 4 grips on the front the ones with just the middle front grips arent nearly as good.

I drilled 1/8th" self tapping hex screws into my old pair and that works great but dont wear them on your wifes flooring!

so... what's the difference between a clamp on and the ice grips ?

there is no difference, just explaining my problem. can i get these ice grips in a hurry. going this weekend. fleet farm.....?

If you order them today you may get them intime if they have them in stock... you could try calling this number: (866) 333-2160 which would put you in touch with the place that takes the orders and they could tell you whether they have what you need in stock.

I do not believe you'll be able to get them at Fleet Farm or any other local store...
