Installing Glasspack on Dodge Ram

I'm looking to install a Glasspack on my 1995 Dodge Ram 1500. What I'm wondering is do you guys recommend clapping it or direct welding it? Also what kind are the best to give it that dual exhaust sound I'm looking for with out the actual dual exhaust?

You mean that annoyingly loud sound?Whats wrong with stock quiet exhaust?

Cheap 'packs sound best in my opinion. 90% of "dual exhaust" on newer trucks are just dual outlet mufflers or a Y-pipe.

Yes I mean that as you call it annoying tone! I personally love it and want it. So is what your saying to get the cheapest pack available?

i've always run the $20 thrush packs on my junk. once the guts burn out they cackle pretty good, but my car is old enough i don't have converters so it actually sounds good, unlike most late model trucks. your parts store should be able to look up what you need per your application.
