2003 Lund Angler SS 17 foot

Dear all,

What is this boat? I see it in classified but there are no ones newer? Did Lund discontinue making it? If so why?

Also where does it stand compared to the Pike and Explorer?

I have a 1999 Lund 1700 Angler SS. It is a single console 17 foot boat. Low sided for fishing like the Mr. Pike and Pro V. I don't know of the improvements since I bought mine but it is a very sea-worthy boat. Mine has one livewell and less bells and whistles as Mr. Pike and Pro V. I think these were discontinued in 2003 or 2004.

The boat is close to what an explorer is now. The angler has more built in features, with storage on each side of the boat in a "bench" style(not verticle like a pro-v). Lund stopped making the console version in 2003 I believe, I think because the explorer was similar and less expensive. The boat is a very good boat with a good amount of storage, With a 115 I think they will run around 45mph. Its a boat that will run you around 13000-16000.
