Trailer wiring

Hey guys i need help on how to install trailer wires on my 1997 S-10 i am pretty mechanicaly inclined just not the best with all those darn wires any and all info would be greatky appreciated thanks.

Hi mav, stop at a auto parts store. They should have a plug that goes under the rear left corner of your truck. It is a t you unplug the plug and install this plug, then you run the 4flat end to your trailer. Its simple and fast. It should only take about 15 min to do. good luck

In addition to the T-plug, get a tube of dielectric grease, coating the plug liberally before installation. That'll help keep the plug from shorting out from water and other debris.

Also, make sure you have a secure ground on the truck end.
