Jigging Bob
Does anyone know anything about digital stealth cams (Model # FIGRC-XTRV w/3.0 mega-pixel & 1.8" TFT LCD monitor. I think its the decked out version from stealth cam. Fleet farm has them on sale for $199 and their origional price is $275. I just haven't talked to anyone that owns one. Does anyone have any reveiws on this unit? Is it good bad average? I don't want to drop that kind of money on something thats only going to last a couple years. Thanks for the help. Redwalleye
I have two stealth cams not digital though, they have held up though. Stealth cam makes a pretty good camera, mine are out right now. I wish I had digital though so I didnt pay for all of the pictures of raccoons, birds and squirrels. I friend of mine in Wisconsin has one called a Cuddeback. it is digital and takes really nice pictures maybe a little spendier though. sorry I couldnt tell you about your specific camera thoughgood luck
bobbersgone
the trigger time on stealth digitals are slow, they eat batteries also.instead of buying the stealth external battery you can use a vex battery wired up for the external port on the camera alot cheaper than buying there set up.nice pictures though.i have 4 stealth digitals,1 leaf river digital,1 4.1 mega pixel sony homebrew, and building more 4.1's there are the same as the penns woods that sell for 600 to 700 hundred dollars at cabelas. but built for less. also on the stealth digitals you can modify them to become infrared cameras also cheap also. i have 3 of my stealths infrared. hope this helped you out scott
Nova
I have a digital stealth cam and it's the slowest reaction time of digitals on the market and it eats disposable batteries like crazy. Does take very nice pics though. I have not tried the external battery yet, but have heard it lasts pretty long. Hope this helps.
