harvey lee
I love all the cars to,but Nascar needs to make sure that everyone is on the same playing field and that no-one has a advantage to make it unfair to one car.You cant let a new car in to the field with better technology when some of the others are still using by Nascar rules older technology. nytelyter
ok ok ok but here is where i want to chime in. what does the s in nascar stand for? ..... STOCK!!!! i remember when this was true in the nascar name. these cars are no ways near close to the STOCK cars that the ledgends drove to victory. they are hybred frames with a sorta looking skin on them, that resembles the car. how about we take STOCK cars off the line and modify them like they used to do. and then lets see the ricers try to compete with them. its all about speed anymore. we do not need to go faster to win. it should more rely on driver ability. i am all for putting the STOCK CAR back into nascar. .... what do you think? ... paul
harvey lee
That would be great, but in Nascars eyes that would probably be going backwards. All I care is that they keep all the cars competitive so they are all able to compete.
smoker craft
My opinion is they ruined it when they let a four door car race. chevy beeing the only true two door on the track no one else could build a two door that would sell and race. I think four doors in winston out now toyoders How much worse can it get. It will be hard to watch. NAPA on a toyoder? National What......
JohnMickish
They ruined it long before they let 4 doors in. When they let Chevy turn a front wheel drive Lumina into a rear wheel drive car to compete against the T-bird is when it really started going away. NONE of the cars today fit the original intent of the rules. Stretched hoods and fenders to make a V8 fit under the sheetmetal is just the surface, but if they didn't allow the rules to be modified then there would be NO cars out there. I believe you can actually purchase a rear wheel drive V8 Charger, can't you?
NAPAFISH
I remember hearing that the only things on the Monte Carlo that were stock was hood and the trunk or deck lid, what ever they call it. If you are going to run STOCK cars I think the only models would be the Charger, Crown Vic and Caprice. I think these are the base models rear wheel drive and V8s. Smoker: Napa sells domestic and foreign parts. We dont discriminate.
