I personally have just a lodge. I really think that it would just be easier to have two portables rather than one large one. Especially for the times you are fishing by yourself or one other person. If you are always fishing with 3 or 4 guys then it would be worth getting. But personally I wouldn't want it. My buddy and I each have a lodge so we can stack them inside of each other and still be able to load all our gear in one pick up. This still allows us to take four guys with us but we can spread out and still cover some territory.

I bought the village this year and I do like it once set up...It is a little clumsy to set and tear down, so if you plan on moving a lot I would skip it and get one of the other models. I got it to use as more of a "pemanent" style house and works very well if you just set it up in one spot and leave it for the whole trip...I set mine up with swivel seats on both sides and a large gear storage box underneath which adds to the weight but is nice to have..A lot more portable than a wood house...

Thanks for the reply jerkn'm I figured the village wouldn't be as fast to move around with I think i'll either get another lodge, like iffwalleyes said, I usually fish by myself or with 1 or 2 buddys but they all have houses. Just when kids or wife fish with me be nice to have more room. Do have killer deal on a 6800 clam from a buddy might have to get that when the fammily is with, save me some bucks that way.
