Scout XL ?

Anybody that owns one of these please help. I need to know how long the battery lasts on these units? The HSOforum says 4hrs, that seems kind of short for a unit thats gonna set me back $279.00

The XL runs for between 4-5 Hours. It does come with an Auxillary power cord (cigarette lighter plug) So you can plug that in and run it off of that if you so like. Or for $14.00 buy an extra 12V battery as they are always needed for something.

I have the regular scout with the 4 amp battery, and i get about 3 to 4 hours of use out of a full charge. I carry a 7 amp as a backup, and have had to use it a couple of times this winter. I picked up a 9 amp battery for my Vex this year. That would give you at least 7 or 8 hours of use if you bought one for your camera. They are the same size.
