Napafish: Iam also a big Jr. fan,But the way he has been at Daytona so far,it may be a long year as the superspeedways were the tracks they excelled at and now SLOW.Lots of problems and alot of new staff.

Lately I have been following the 55 and the 22. i myself dont put alot of faith in testing. I think drafting speeds are more of a gauge. The DEI cars were not really great in qualifying. I think that the DEI cars run the best in the draft. Also I think there is certain drivers that know how to set up a plate car really well. Crew chiefs and car chiefs too. I wouldnt worry. I would bet that the DEI cars and Mikey qualify around mid-pack. Truex maybe a little farther back. They will work their way up.

Despite last years performance and what Jr. has shown this year he will hoist the trophy at the end of the year. After a Ford driver hands it to him. Unless you believe in conspericy theorys. It would be "good for the sport" if he won.

I have to give Napa some credit. He doesn't let reality mess with his cheering, which in some strange perverted sense makes him a good fan to those guys I guess...

I don't disagree with you there....if Jr. won the cup, it definitely would be good for the sport....but then wow...how would we ever be able to tolerate listening to his fans...ever again???

Oh man, between Napa and Harvey it would be hard to get a letter in edgewise around here. Seriously though, does anyone really think that the top ten for 2006 will be much different than it was in 2005? I think 7 of them will return.

mnf...I think it will be pretty similar, but I really wonder how the Fords will do this year with their new car...is it all that much different than the Taurus? They had the Taurus pretty well figured out I thought, and am surprised they went away from it. They must think this new car (I can't remember the name of it) will be better...but it might take some time to tweak it until it's just right??

I briefly watched the Speed channel the other day..what's the show called...Preseason Thunder? Man was I surprised to see all the changes in drivers and crew chiefs and driver's car numbers! I wonder how Evernham's teams will do this year with the restructuring?? It should be an interesting year, as it always is.
