0 JohnMickish
I have one and can honestly say FOR THE MONEY there probably isn't a better deal. I don't think it's the best on the market but I can buy almost two QFII's for one Otter. I'm on my third year and mine is showing some wear, and I am sure I will get three more out of it. I'm happy with mine but my next one will either be an Otter or a Clam with the zip together feature. So to answer your question it's a good shack and worth what it cost. 0 Mr. Pike1
I as well have the QFII. I think it is a great unit for the price. I am on year 3 as well. I am for the most part a mobile angler. I can get everthing I need in the sled and it has provides the shelter I need if very cold and forced to limit my moving around the ice. I have a lot of stuff so even though it is made as a two man I find it perfect for one person. If you really want two guys you might want to look at the QFIII. 0 SteveWilson
It's a decent unit for the price; not the best but probably the best value. There's four of us in our familly and it allows 2 or 3 of us to stay inside and warm up while the other 1 or 2 are out and mobile. With the four of us we take a lot of gear and the sled works well although it takes two of us to pull it effectively
0 outdoor ran
I bought a QF2 three years ago. Like said above its a nice shack for the money. Thats why I bought my, you can almost buy 2 for the price of a really good one. The white plastic c clips for the wind bars are all broke on mine in the cold and my 3yr son poked a hole threw the velcro side window. I like it and it does the job. Now I've heard of some people having problems with the zippers breaking, I haven't had that problem yet. Just comes down to you get what you pay for. I would buy another. BTW otters arn't the only shack you can catch fish out of
0 caseymcq
I have a QF II. It is pretty nice. The sled pulls a little on the tough side if you are walking. Set up is extremely quick. I like the fact that you can take out the clear plastic on the windows. The bench came with it and that is a nice option. The zipper did spit out a couple teeth though and that makes operating the door a little bit of a pain. For the money it is a pretty good unit.
