Was wondering if anybody is running this motor this spring and how it is going. Have heard really mixed results with the Optis and looking for some first hand experience. Thanks.

I am running a 2004 150 OptiMax. So far,
it is everything they said it was. I
had also heard mixed results. Most of
the problems I heard about, were with
the earlier versions. I think most of
the bugs are now worked out. It pushes
my 1850 SportFish at about 52mph. It will
also troll down to 1.7 mph. They are fantastic on the fuel economy as well.
