Law Firm
Other than the traditional frying in oil, I'm looking for other ways to cook or prepare fish. As a bachelor, I'm always looking for fast and easy ways to prepare meals. Any input would be appreciated.
89Bronco
A place I use quite a bit for recipes on the web is called ALLRECIPES. And if you check out Tony Dean's page he has some cool recipes instead of the ol' fried walleye.
Harmonator
Check out the post "broiling fish" on page two in this thread. Try Deitzs' recipe, it is very good.
Walterwontfalter
You can poach it in a pan with a bit of water instead of a bunch of oil. or clean it and leave the skin on and grill it. Or cook it, grind it up, bread it and make fish patties. mmmmm
nytelyter
my dad, who has now become health food consience, puts a single layer on a dinner plate, seasons them with favorite seasoning, covers with good saran wrap. and hits the auto cook button for fish on his microwave. they prolly cook for about 4-6 minutes on high. with out auto cook you may have to play with the time a bit. but is a NO fat way to cook them. and he raves about them. as well as no mess and quick.
