Aqua View Quad 360

Dragon Fish ll

Question

Im looking for any pros an cons on this four way camera. Are the split screens to small to enjoy or can you switch to one screen at a time as well. also do these systems work with a 10 inch magnified screen. does anyone know how well they work at night with the lighting system. I am going to buy a camera this week but not sure which one. the four way viewing sure would be nice but for the money I would like a few more options with It. grin.gif

DT-100 gives you all of the options plus AquaView is giving away MoPods for motorized camera turning with the DT. See their HSOforum for details. So far I am really impressed with my DT 100 I bought just before the New Year.

Dragon Fish,

The Quad 360 NightHawk is a fun system. The 2 images are always on the screen. And No, the Z-mag doesn't work on the monitor. It is a 7" screen and that seems to be enough. At first you think it is quite small. But then if you think about it in the diagnal size it is nearly the same as the screen on the DT for each individual screen. I'm still trying to get out fishing in the evening to test out the lighting. But the Quad is much different than the other Aqua-Vu's as the lights are above the camera to reduce particulation.

thanks for the input. does the 360 have infared and the only model with lighting for night vision. The reason I ask is because on the forms a few times Ive read with all the others you cant see anything at night. Also do you think you could run it on a larger screen or TV. Any knoledge would be helpfull, Thank You

Dragon,

It has SR lights so they are the visible lights and quite bright at that. And you can go from the Monitor into any TV you like as long as it has an RCA input.

Hey thanks again.Right after makeing last post I called a friend who told me the local Gander mountain was closing so I called to see what discounts they had. they said 5 and 10 percent off everything. Not a lot of savings on 499.99 I was transfered to the fishing department and was told they had one quad 360 left price quote was 284.99. I had no more questions and couldnt get down there fast enough. Mind made up and now own the 360. grin.gif
