Medium Otter Cabin from Otter Outdoors problem

My new Otter Sled Medium Cabin has a problem. I can't get the skirt fastened together down by where your feet are when fishing. The material won't stretch far enough so I can snap / velcro it together. It is like the sled to too big or the fabric is too short. I have looked several times at where the canvas seems meet the poles are where the velcro straps onto the poles and they seem to look ok. The plastic parts of the otter skin that fit into the channels on the sled seem to be lined up on the corners ok.

Anyone else have this problem and how did you fix it?

If you have installed the cover with all of the clips in place the center should have more than enough to velcro at the center. The clips attach on the sled all the way around the sled. Contact Otter if you think there is an issue.

Starting from the back, pull the snap sections toward the ends as much as you can. Do the same to the sides working your way toward the fount. Thats all you can do. I had one cover end up a couple inchs short where they meet but was still able to secure the majority of the fabric with the velcro. I had thought about making a filler piece and add velcro to that but like I said I was able to attach most of it. Try that and if your not satisfied with it contact Otter and make them aware of the problem.

I talked with Otter Outdoors last week and they offered to have me mail it in so they could look at it. I didn't want to send it in and they are sewing up a part that will bridge the gap.

I thought that maybe I had done something wrong when I put it together and there was some sort of trick I needed to try.
