Thorne bro's Spring bobber?

Hecker

Question

I just got My first Thorne's rod (perch). Being a little heavier rod I decided to go with the spring bobber they make for it. Only using it once I'm hooked, Love it!! The question I have is this, How on earth do I keep it from not falling out of the guide on every fish? It seems to fit nice but still comes out. It wouldn't be all that bad except for it sometimes falls out when I'm dropping the jig to the fish.

Any advice?

Thanks

Posted this on the Metro setion as well in response. Got the same exact rod (indoor version) last week with a spring bobber. They did have to change the tip/last eye to accomodate the spring bobber so I'd make sure they did that.

I didn't really notice any difference but the rod came back with a different color epoxy on the end so I know they did smake some kind of change.
