I can see it already with these open coaching positions.

Tice gets hired as the Packers coach and Sherman with the Vikes. Green Bay trades the #5 pick to the Vikes for Culpepper to take over the helm from Favre and the Vikes draft a QB with the #5 pick. Yeah I am nuts for thinking this...

I like your thinking. Poor Tice would have to re-build the pack. I would like to see him excel, I don't think he was given a fair chance. I would have liked to see him get 1 more year. The Vikes are a few players away from being a very good team. The next coach will benefit from Tice's efforts (with what he had to work with). Ziggi is going to do what it takes to get to the top.

You are technically right Dotch, although the general consensus was it was a forced retirement. They let him retire to avoid saying he was fired and save some face, but they weren't bringing him back.

ALSO, add the Raiders to the list as they fired Norv Turner today.
