When Im targeting panfish I use almost all the jigs from custom jigs and spins. Many colors and different jigs for any bite there is. I will sometimes also use a few different Genz jigs. About the only thing Ill add to the jigs are spikes and usually have 4-5 different colors. My go-to jig for pannies is the ratso or shrimpo tip with a spike or nothing and just let the little tail do its work. For eyes I will use glow jigs, jigging raps, angle eyes and a plain red hook with a minnow.Usually Ill start out with a glow jig and fathead and go from there.Rattle jigs also some days are the ticket.Ive also used chubby darters and they are fun to watch as they have alot of action to them.Just to many jigs and lures to choose from.

JBLures has an outstanding assortment of tacle for all occasions. The jigging eye, a jigging sspoon fashioned after the gem-n-eye, has already proven itself in the walleye and crappie arenas. The 1/16 glo red got some hot action for me last week a some awful nice crappies.

I was a crappie once,so I can tell you that there are days when I like somthing horizontal and flashy. then there are days when I want a vertical approach in white, perhaps chartruse. Yellow has it times as well.

I have to tell yah that crappie minnows are not always on my menue. I will be there and bite so lite you can't tell if I am tugging on your bobber. But it has been known that a slight bend of a sensitive rod tip is a give away I am checking out your presentation.

In other words, if one presentation isn't working, change it and you'd be surprised the difference it makes.
