I have a question for all you ATV experts. What do you considor high miles on a 4x4 (Honda in particular, but others also). I'm looking at a few used machines and wondered. Is 1,000 to 1,500 per year high or normal for a trail machine?

Are you looking at a specific model? The Foreman and Ranchers are very reliable quads. I usually average around 2000 and as much as 2400 a year on my Honda 450. When I sold my 1999 Foreman it had just over 4900 miles on it. My current '02 is approaching 5000 miles and I have yet to replace a driveline part. Unless it has been abused or heavily used for mudding, they have extremely durable drivelines.
