New licenses/tags

Since we are talking about licenses, can anyone tell me if my son-in-law (coming home for Christmas from Kansas) can use my portable if I am not with him? My shelter has a resident license, with my name and number, and he will have a non-resident fishing license.

How are you attaching them to your permanent houses? Before I just peeled & stuck it to the side. I really don't want to drill holes in the siding of the house if I don't have to.

Page 70 saysNonresidents may fishfrom a licensed fish house. Nonresidents may obtain a license for a fish shelter.however the house cannot remain on ice when unattended. As for attaching license on wood house I use thumb tacks.

My siding is aluminum. How do I get it to stick onto that?

Couldn't you laminate it and display it in a window?

Looks like the rules have changed. Before if your house is left on the lake it must be licensed. My dad and I had the county asking about structures on our property. We said they were ice house and did not building permit. The county claimed all structures on land will have either a building permit or a ice house license attached to it.
