My bay on Lobster has been frozen for 4 weeks, I've been walking on the shallows for 3 weeks. And they have been using portables for 2 weeks. I've walked out along my dock (which never comes out) every day for 3 weeks with the dogs. Well... I just went in to my knee's, along side the dock, cold and startled. No warning at all, just splash. shocked.gif

Glad you're all right, Wayne...

suppose the dog just shook his head and sighed, eh? *L*

With the latest snowfall, we all need to take extra caution....water on top of the ice, heavy snow, cracks, mild temps...not a recipe for good ice...

Please be careful....

The bay is frozen, and a number of portables have been walking out from the corner, by the cattails. There is a couple of houses on the main basins, I guess after this wet snow we will have alot of water on the ice under the snow. This maybe real hard for the ATV's, but the sleds should have no problem. Talked to Mike (CO) this morning, he said they dropped on in on Miltona, west end and at the narrows on Mina.
