Bunkbed Style Cots

i'll second the futon!! if you have the ceiling height get one with a bunk above the futon as well.

as for bunk bed cots, i'd have to see one on person to believe its possible. maybe for a small child on the top bunk, but i dont think theres anyway i'd sleep underneath a full grown man sleeping on a bunk that folds up and packs away. the framework is gonaa need to be pretty strong, just dont see that happening in a unit thats made to pack away like a cot.

A friend of mine years ago when he bought his Clam sleeper, Made his own bunk bed system. He was a welder by trade back then. and he welded up some aluminum frames. and used heavy Canvas. The Canvas then had several gromets. he then laced 3/8 white rope.

they way he designed the frames the feet were design to feet into the other bunk. so it didn't matter which one was on the top or bottom. it was universal.

He now lives down in Texas. so I have no idea what ever happened to that system. but it fit very nice in his clam sleeper.
