My day at the pond--part four (photos)

I had such a wonderful day at the pond, but this was a special treat for me...

There was somewhere between 10 and 14 Black ducks still hanging around down there today, and I was lucky enough to get a couple decent shots...

The second one is gorgeous -- smiling for the camera, too. I like these ducks, I found a black duck hen hanging out with the mallards last week.

I have shot more black ducks with my gun than my camera and that is not saying much. Got to find some this winter ( I have a couple leads) to shoot. Mallards and geese get old after awhile.
