Cliff Wagenbach
You still have a great flasher! If your money is already spent, the upgrade would be a little more money, but well worth it! Cliff

Dave
mymaro, what would you expect Vexilar to say about its competition? Collect the facts from both units and you'll have to decide for yourself what's best for you.
JJN1196
I talked with Vex and Marcum at the show and Decided on Marcum. The post Matt Johnson posted helped me with that decision. Thanks Matt.
SteveWilson
I looked into that and I figured that it would cost roughly $70 to buy the parts from Marcum to make a portable ice unit (case, carrige, battery, charger). That would total you out at $309 which is still a good deal on an LX-3. At the time I checked there was another source of LX-3's for $279 (which since has sold out). If you go with that deal and then add in the upgrade to an LX-3tc you would spend roughly $360 which is still cheaper than a new LX-3tc.
