0 Gus
What can I use to get my trailer wiring clean from corrosion and keep it that way?
0 Knotwood
There's a spray that dissolves a lot of corrosion called PB Blaster. I use a bit of wet/dry sandpaper or a small wire brush. Sometimes scraping is the only way to get the green stuff off.
0 Fisher Dave
IFallsRon has it covered.... do exactly that and you will be good-to-go.Its a good idea to put dielectric grease on both wire fittings(truck/boat) to prevent future corrosion, including where the ground wire grounds to the trailer/truck. It also works great on the brass base of the lights to prevent corrosion.... just about any electrical contact.

0 DP
A 22cal bore cleaning brush works well for cleaning out the female end of the connector.
