Wonderful photos Cheryl!......the lone snow goose mixed in with the canadas(I think the canadas are the "lessers" but not sure,"greaters" are pretty big birds)...my favorite is the pic of the lone snow scooping water....all great captures!....thanks for sharing them....jonny smile.gif

I just looked up Ross's Goose and I think what I saw is a Ross's Goose but I don't know if the Canada geese are lessors. They looked like 'regular-size' to me. He was at the dam yesterday but that's the first time I've ever seen him there.

Mutty is right, that is absolutely a Ross. The Canada's are probably interior or Eastern. They're too big to be Lesser's and they're not Giants. Very cool Capture--don't see a lot of Ross' geese here in Minnesota.
