Duffman-

I'm just taking a cue from some of these other great photographers here but I'm wondering if this crop of your Bufflehead looks a little better??

Higher res image and you'd be good to go! Still an awesome pic in my opinion.

Duffman--Very cool man. How much fishing did this cost you? Not that much I'll bet, yet you have some really cool photos that you'll be able to keep and admire for a long time. I'm glad to see you took that time. Had that been a nice sunny day, you might have had some better shutter speeds to help a little with the softness of the images, but you did well. Always keep that camera handy. I too agree with Hanson--That buffie would look cool as a vert, but IMO I would place him more on the right side of the frame for compositions sake. Great job Man--good eye too Hanson.

I'm still trying to figure out the digital camera I've got, a Cannon A95. It is frustrating to try and get the right settings on spur of the moment pics. I was able to get within 20 yds of the above subjects, but with the low light and constantly moving canoe, the photos didn't turn out as sharp as I'd hoped. I just have to sit down with the manual some day and experiment.

Tom... you are sure right about having the camera along at all times, you just never know what you will see while fishing;
