First of all I'd like to say, "HELLO" to everyone. I just started ice fishing about 5 years ago and am still learning. I hope being here on this forum I'll be able to learn a lot about gear and different techniques on the ice. I'm already getting pumped about hitting the ice and I've got a ways to go. Picked up a new fish finder and Aqu-Vu camera last night. Come on Mr. Winter!! grin.gif

Welcome to the best on-line fishing around. If you want, check out some of the ice leaders events and a couple of the non-competitive get togethers this year. Loads of information available at these things.

Lots of great people on this site and I'm sure you will find yourself right at home in the near future.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I'm MD/PA raised but have been living in New Hampshire for the past 6 years. Before moving to NH, iced over lake or pond was for throwing large rocks on to trying to break through grin.gif Now I know what fun it can be I try to get as much as the wife will let me. I load up my four wheeler rig with my gear, marinated deer steaks and a few beverages (6 to be exact wink.gif) and spent the whole day fishing and telling hunting stories. Can't beat it on a good winter day grin.gif
