Montana Antelope, Mulies 2006

My every other year Montana hunting group has fallen apart over the last couple years for various reasons. I'd like to find another small group of guys to go out to Montana and hunt antelope and mulies every other year or so. This would a self organized hunt based on ATV and foot travel. I'm Twin Cities based, anybody interested in talking about it...

I've seen a little interest and a tirekicker or two. I'm working on some land access and the application process will be here in middle February. Mulie hunts are usually late October...

What area(s) are yo thinking, I might be interested if still possible, none of my buddies have the means or the desire to hunt out west and a mulie is high on my list!

I'm either thinking southeast in the Broadus area or I've got a line on some land in north central around Malta...

If you are thinking of the Malta area, It has a lot of State and federal land that is open to the public. The CM Russell Area along the Fort Peck Dam is very good also. BLM Maps show all the public land to. Maps are alvable to. You shouldn't have any problem finding area to hunt there. I would recomend that area. CAJ
