So where is a good spot in MN?

There are many areas that are looking pretty good this year. I would pick a county S, SW, or W and get the Prim map that the DNR issues.

There are tons of good public land. They can get pressure on the nicer weekends, but most of the big crowds are already done.

i think im the only guy who lives in south dakota and drives to minnesota to go pheasant hunting, but for some reason i just keep going home. maybe its that there is always land for me there, or maybe its getting compliments on my dogs from relatives, or maybe its the fact that we've shot 28 birds off of one large crp field already! the numbers are definetely up!
