Green done for the year

Mike Sherman just announced that Ahman Green ruptured his quad and is done for the year. For some guys this type of injury has been career threatening. Too bad. Probably a sign that the Pack will be looking at running backs with their low draft pick this spring. I wonder who they are going to sign in the interim. At 1-5, I can't see TT opting for any high price/big names. No word yet on Ferguson.

I'm guessing they pretty much stick with Fisher and Lee for the rest of the year. Can't really think who is available out there anyways, besides I think the trading deadline has passed.

On the receiver end of things, I did hear on the radio this afternoon they brought in Freddie Mitchell for a look. At this rate, though I think they will be gettin into the Reggie Bush sweepstakes, though Alexander and Westbrook will be out there next year as free agents.

Alexander will be playing for this years NFC North Champion Minnesota Vikings, next season.

All 4 teams in the nfc north suck this year. I can picture the viking players all singing we are the champions at the end of the season with a 6-10 record.
