Is this worth buying? And is the transducer for a vex work on it?

i dont know for such if it will or not , but i do know that a transducer from vex will work on a micronor or hondex Fl8. there has been very little change in the units if you realy think about it. my thought would be yes it would but i wouild check 1st

Depends on the price? A vexilar transducer will work on the Si-Tex. I had an old Si-Tex FL-5 that treated me great for many years.

Is it the solid red or 3 color flasher?

I had an FL-7, solid red flasher w/ transducer and mounts for about $50 awhile back.
