Optimax Warranty work

I bought a boat from a dealer that is not the closest to me. I knew eventually I would need to take motor in for work and general maintenance etc.... My question is whether another dealer other than the one you bought the boat and motor from will do warranty work on my motor. Thanks.

Warranty work is with any dealer.

Also general maintenance can be done by anybody but it's not considered "under warranty", you'll have to pay for it consequently any shop will gladly accept your business...
