Oiling and lubing reels?

Gonna take sometime this weekend to oil and lube my reels. I am not a pro at this and was wondering if people had some tips or advice for me?

As far as lubricants go I like the stuff made by Quantum. I think it's called Hot Sauce. It works very well!

Frabill makes a winter lube called Sub-Zero that doesn't get tacky and seize up when it gets below zero. Something to think about if your re-lubing ice reels. I hate it when I'm outside jigging, or when I first set up, and the reel boggs down until I warm it up.

With Hot Sauce, there's Hot Sauce Oil, and Hot Sauce Grease.

my tip would be; to have and keep the reels diagrams handy ! just in case you forget how they go back together.
