rogrod
All of the pheasants in that area flew down to the southwestern part of the state.Actually the numbers I have seen are similar to last year which was a pretty good year.If you need something to do on Friday night there is a pheasants forever banquet at the Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood. Mr. B
I just moved to the Glenwood area and have not had much time to think about hunting let alone go out and look around the area. Between the wife's list of things to do and working with the dog no time at all.Does anyone after a few ideas of places to try for pheasants within an hour of Glenwood? It would not be opening weekend (busy once again). Just looking for a place to run the dog and maybe kick a bird or two up.Any help would be great. carpshooterdeluxe
theres lots of public land in all directions from glenwood; best bet is to pick up one of the atlas' that show public lands and whatnot. some areas might be a little crowded this weekend but during the weekdays theres usually no problem finding a spot all to yourself.
