Mn hunting maps

I took my brother-in-law out grouse hunting yesterday, just north of his cabin. We went to Crow Wing State Forest. As we were driving through I noticed everything was posted. We didn't get out once.

Can anyone tell me what map(s)to buy to show me where exactly public hunting in the State Forests are allowed?

Definately check into the DNR's issued Prim Maps. You can order them off thier HSOforum or you can find some at major sporting good stores.

The PRIM maps are good. If you can find a local DNR office near the forest they will usually have free maps of the state forest as well.
