MNBIGBEAR
Just wondering what you guys think about the map chips compatible with my LMS-240?
0 Captain B.R.K
I would have told you the MMC-MN chip from Lowrance (Lake Masters) would have been a good one, but I just was on their site and your unit is not compatiable with it...bummer deal.Otherwise Navionic has a chip out that many lakes from the MN and IA area on it. You might want to give those guys a call to see what they'd recommend for you. Good Luck.
0 PerchJerker
I looked at buying a used 240 to put on my bow a year ago and I think it only worked with the 1st generation or 2 of map chips, like Navionics Classic or maybe Gold. It will not work with the newer map chips with more of the highly accurate depth contours. Personally, I didn't see an advantage to having a map chip if it didn't have accurate depth contours. Good luck.
