Heater and thermocouples.....

I was given an older, but never used vented fish house heater. Right now it does not have a gas safety shut off, or thermcouple on it. Can a person put one on? Where can I get? any propane guys here? Thanks

I would look in the yellow pages and see if there is anybody that sells them in your area or anybody that builds fish houses might be able to help.You should be able to add on a thermostat or thermocouple but without seeing it is hard to say.What brand is it?

What brand and how many BTUs?
Most stoves are now fitted with a safety shutoff valve. If you contact the manufacturer you'll probably find out that model now has a safety shutoff valve on the new models. In which case you should be able to buy purchase one from them and install it.
